Why do I get prompted to allow Internet access for a file named Updater_XX.exe?
Updater_XX.exe (XX being some number like 14) is an Iconix file. It is the name of our software update application, though it's name periodically increments. It checks for updates every few hours if a web browser is open.
There aren't always updates to apply, however we check frequently to make sure that Iconix eMail ID is up to date. This ensures that you will have the best experience with our product.
