QA Engineer

As QA Engineer you will work closely with the QA Lead Engineer in developing home-grown automated tests as well as scripting QA tools which will assist the manual test process. You will work closely with development engineers and project managers to execute test plans, report bugs, and track defects.

Responsibilities

• Submit and regress bugs (mostly blackbox)
• Test database MySQL interactions at both the user and code levels
• Test MS Windows client code
• Exercise flexibility and the ability to multi-task in a high stress environment

Requirements

• 3+ years experience with load test and analysis tools
• Fully understand the internal and external software processes
• Experience with Load Testing theories and methodologies
• Scripting (CGI, PERL, PHP, Shell) knowledge
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Familiarity with XML basic principles

Preferred Skills

• BS/BA in CS or experience in related field
• Project experience with Apache application servers
• Project experience with MS Windows clients
• Working knowledge client/server computing architecture
